Heber Helping Heber worked with the Heber Valley Elementary School to supply students, in the Back Pack Program, food boxes over the Christmas school break. These students receive food supplies for weekends during the school year. Paul Clark, founder of Heber Helping Heber, became involved and united community members to purchase and pack food boxes for students in need over the extended holiday. Jennifer Roskelley, a counselor at Heber Valley Elementary, brought the need to the Wasatch Community Foundation. The goal of the fund raising was to purchase and package food for 135 students. Due to incredible support, the end result was packaging enough for 200 students. Thanks to the community, church, food pantry and school who all worked together to complete the job!
